Farmer Partnership
We partner with farmers in the United States, who are interested in or who are already approaching their land with a regenerative management mindset. We invest capital in farmland equity in a model that allows growers to acquire new land or retain both an ownership interest in their land and the ability to manage their operations with relative autonomy. We meet a grower wherever she or he is along the spectrum of transition to regenerative management, and partner in a way that is supportive but not prescriptive.
Biome Capital Partners can also invest additional capital outside the farm gate to benefit our farmer partners (for example, in processing infrastructure or relevant AgTech). We seek to build regional regenerative ecosystems, and part of our investment mandate is to improve the economic and emotional health of our farmer partners and their community.

Continental United States plus Hawaii.
Size
We typically partner with farmers operating at least 500 acres.
Operations
We don’t typically partner in scenarios with distressed assets or financials at this time.
